About the position

ADP is seeking a Workers Compensation Underwriter to evaluate prospective clients from a workers' compensation perspective. This role involves collaboration with the Sales team to identify and reject unprofitable prospects, ensuring that the company engages with clients that align with its profitability expectations. Responsibilities
? Approves and disapproves of prospective clients.

? Develops and maintains a current knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations on workers' compensation insurance.

? Prepares loss control requests.

? Performs any special projects assigned by the Underwriting Manager.

Requirements
? Four-year college degree (or equivalent in education and experience).

? 3-4 years of insurance experience with a concentration in workers' compensation underwriting.

Nice-to-haves
? Ability to perform rapid turnaround decisions on worker's compensation and risk evaluation.
