About the position

The Computer Technician position at the Texas Association of Counties involves supporting the operations of the Information Technology Department under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity and operation of County computers and related equipment, providing IT hardware and software support, and troubleshooting various technical issues.

Responsibilities
? Support the operations of the Information Technology Department.

? Maintain the integrity and continued operation of County computers and related peripheral equipment.

? Provide IT related hardware and software support.
,
? Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
,
? Assist in the installation and maintenance of servers, computers, network devices, and cabling.

? Perform other duties as required.

Requirements
? Graduation from High School or GED.
,
? Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience or a combination of related technical education and experience.

? Must possess a valid Texas Drivers license.

? Knowledge of and skill in using Microsoft Windows products.
