Machine Operator

Priority Personnel is seeking a Night Extruder Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX. Position is Direct Hire with the company!

Pay rate: $22.00/hr plus $2.00/hour shift premium

Work Schedule: Rotating 12 hour shifts, 6:00pm-6:00am

Job Duties:
? Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production order
? Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed
? Feed raw material or parts to manual or semi-automated machine
? Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
? Test operation of machines periodically
? Fix and/or report issues that might occur during the shift
? Verify output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
? Keep records of approved and defective units and/or final products
? Maintain daily logs/records
? Follow all safety rules, assure others follow safety rules and correct or report any safety issues immediately

Requirements: ? Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.) ? Understanding of production procedures, manufacturing specifications, etc. ? Basic computer skills for e-mail, record keeping and to access job related work instructions ? Ability to read and write English. ? High school diploma or equivalent
