Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Faro Companies in Laredo, TX. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

? Work closely with the department leads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity

? Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements

? Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule

? Check preparation and bank reconciliation

Qualifications
? Financial Analysis, Accounting, and Bookkeeping skills
? Experience with financial reporting
? Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
? Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
? 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel
? Bilingual
