Specialist, Internal Communications

As a Sr. Specialist, you not only build content, but the plans as well, with support from your manager or another Communications leader. Your proofreading skills have become second nature. You understand your audiences, likely within a specific business unit, and their needs and journeys. A Sr. Specialist has his/her eyes on both the short-term and long-term. You are able to parse longer communications plans into specific landmarks, and you recognize challenges or barriers before they pose an immediate threat ? giving you time to identify and recommend solutions. You work well with your internal networks and communications peers, and you are confident discussing ideas and plans with business unit leadership. You are results-motivated and regularly update your partners on progress, or new opportunities as they arise.
