Our client in North Houston is looking for a Temporary Procurement Admin to join their team for a 3-4 month assignment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring smooth procurement operations. You?ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values open communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities: ? Create, update, and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing ? Follow up with suppliers on order status, resolve any delays, and maintain strong vendor relationships ? Maintain and update vendor records to ensure compliance with company requirements ? Process transactions and maintain accurate procurement records using SAP (a must-have skill!) ? Assist the procurement team with general administrative tasks and process improvements
Qualifications: ? 1-2 years of procurement experience ? understanding of purchasing processes and supplier coordination ? Proficiency in SAP is required ? ability to navigate and process orders within the system ? Excellent communication and organizational skills ? ability to collaborate effectively and follow up with suppliers ? Attention to detail & problem-solving skills ? ensuring accurate order processing and resolving supplier issues proactively ? No degree required ? just a great work ethic, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset
Pay: $25/hr
