Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and urgent care, with a solid understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. This role involves providing both clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
? Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
? Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, and administering injections as directed.
? Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health systems.
? Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
? Provide medical administrative support, including handling phone calls, processing insurance information, and managing patient inquiries.
? Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
? Educate patients on treatment plans and medication instructions as necessary.

Experience (not required)
? Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
? Familiarity with internal medicine practices and urgent care settings is highly desirable.
? Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and outpatient procedures is essential.
? Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient information effectively.
? Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
