JOB DETAILS

Bridgefield Electric is actively recruiting for traveling and non-traveling APPRENTICE I and APPRENTICE II ELECTRICIANS who will perform the following job duties under the direct supervision a qualified electrician:
? Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance, of electrical systems
? Able to learn and/or assist in identifying and diagnosing electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
? Able to learn and/or assist is bending and threading cable runs and basic installations compliant with NEC
? Able to learn and/or assist in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
? Able to learn and/or test electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning
? Supports in the maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of electrical equipment and systems
? Ensure the work area and equipment is kept clean and safe
? Must maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations
? Additional duties may be assigned based upon job specific needs

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
? Strong aptitude and interest in electrical systems
? Basic understanding of electrical concepts and tools
? Possess above average problem solving skills
? Willingness to learn and develop industry specific
? High regard to performing work safely with respect to others including property and individual safety
? Must be able to communicate and work effectively as a team

The Following Qualifications is Required:
? 1+ Years of Industrial Electrical Experience
? Valid Texas Apprentice License
? TWIC (for applicable sites)
? ISTC Basic + (or similar Safety Council)
