Manager, Vendor Management will lead a team of VMs and will own defining the short and long-range strategy of new, high growth vendors who are providing services to the largest B2B customers at Amazon Business. You will be responsible for identifying vendor priorities, supporting expansion opportunities, establishing success criteria and ensuring our vendors perform to the highest standards to scale the business. You will work closely with Customer, Product, and Operations team members to drive alignment toward our goals. This high visibility role will require Senior Executive communication and influencing while working with stakeholders across Retail, Operations, HR, Tech and Finance.

Key job responsibilities
? Build and execute vendor business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, marketing legal, tech).
? Develop and lead a team of Vendor Managers
? Lead day-to-day operational aspects of the business, including gathering and addressing customer and vendor feedback, price management, and business improvement initiatives.
? Setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
? Representing Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long term strategic relationships.
? Generating and implementing big ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and scale within the category and across the Retail business.
? Leading cross functional collaboration on necessary systems and processes to support business needs, including retail systems, marketing, supply chain, advertising, merchandising, product, and tech.
? Innovating and implementing new customer and vendor programs.
