Mgr, Plant Accounting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Collects and analyzes data to determine cost of business activities such as raw material purchases, material usage variances, labor and variable overhead ? Completes composite reports from a variety of individual reports which are needed by management such as weekly cash flow forecasts, month capital forecasts, and monthly financial reporting ? Assists in the preparation of annual budgets for each cost center of the plant ? Prepares monthly work-in-process (WIP) inventory, coordinates and directs routine cycle counts of WIP. ? Issues written and oral instructions ? Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures ? Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of employees ? Maintains harmony among workers and resolves complaints
