About the position

As a Tire & Battery Center Technician at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional service to our members, ensuring that their expectations are met and exceeded. You will work collaboratively with other associates, fostering a team-oriented environment that emphasizes communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires you to be knowledgeable about safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, and service standards. You will also be responsible for operating equipment, understanding product specifications, and utilizing Point of Sale systems effectively. In this role, you will leverage digital tools to enhance the service experience and drive sales. You will be expected to utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, and new product information. As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will also communicate equipment and supply needs to the TBC Lead, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your responsibilities will include processing transactions, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have. Additionally, you will act as a brand ambassador, valuing the member's experience and modeling high-quality service. You will be responsible for training and mentoring new technicians, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Compliance with company policies and ethical standards is paramount, and you will be expected to adapt to changes and learn from feedback. Responsibilities

Requirements
? Valid state-issued driver's license.

? Must be 18 years of age or older.
