Work Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ North Central West Texas region Office.

This position is a member of our North Central West Texas division.
HERE?S WHAT YOU?LL BE DOING
? Direct and monitor Air/Water/Waste program activities to ensure commitments are met in a timely manner with accurate and complete reports. Assign and oversee the work of investigators. Provide reports to management and input relating to performance management.
? Perform environmental investigations as assigned.
? Advise and provide feedback to the Air/Water/Waste Section Manager regarding program activities and/or significant issues.
? Provide and/or assure outreach and technical assistance is provided to the public, the regulated community, media, and government officials.
? Coordinate with the division to accomplish agency goals.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience developing and generating work plans.
? Experience tracking and reporting work plan progress.
? Experience managing multiple projects.
? Experience working with air , water and/or waste programs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the administration of a program relevant to assignment
Or
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment

CURRENT TCEQ EMPLOYEES
This position is also available as a lateral transfer opportunity (LTO) to TCEQ employees within the Natural Resources Specialist V state classification. The selected candidate must meet the minimum qualifications of the corresponding job in the Environmental Investigator V series.
