About the position

The Financial Analyst II at Hendrick Health plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's financial operations through comprehensive reporting and analysis. In addition to reporting, the Financial Analyst II will engage in research and statistical analysis to support the organization's financial strategies. This includes tracking and verifying cost data for new systems, measuring return on investment (ROI) for new collection tools, and preparing financial dashboards for multiple cost centers. The role requires a solid understanding of healthcare finance concepts, including wRVUs, pay tiers, and insurance processing, to effectively analyze financial documents and provide recommendations for process improvements. The analyst will also participate in industry surveys and contribute to the compilation of statistics for reporting agencies. This position is integral to the financial health of Hendrick Health, as it directly impacts budgeting, cost management, and overall financial performance. The Financial Analyst II will work closely with various departments to collect and analyze changes in physician production and calculate costs associated with mid-level practitioners versus their production levels. This role is essential for ensuring that the organization meets its financial goals and maintains operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
? Assist in all functions of the organization's financial operations, including reporting.

? Compile and analyze financial reports and statistics.

? Develop and compile statistical data for financial analysis.

? Generate reports and input data into computer programs.

? Proofread financial documents and research information as needed.

? Conduct strong statistical analysis using computer packages to prepare graphics.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

? Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or operations analytics.

? Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions.

? Required knowledge of healthcare finance concepts and financial reporting.
