Position Overview:
This position is responsible for creating and maintaining account reconciliations, assisting with month-end close, composing journal entries, maintaining fixed assets, general ledger, and working with our operations partners to review monthly profit and loss statements. Also include processing various financial transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining accurate financial records. Manage invoicing and cash management (Including cash receipts, vendor payments and bank reconciliations) to ensure it follows procedures. Will also maintain a high level of confidently to all financial and sensitive information. Communicates with a diverse group of important external customers/suppliers as well as internal associates at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: ? Preform month end close processes, preparing journal entries and performing assigned account reconciliations. ? Prepares reconciliations of general ledger accounts for ERP systems. ? Performs analysis on inventory accounts and cost ? Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. ? Prepares reports for external audit. ? Own assigned Balance sheet reconciliations. ? Own assigned P & L Variance accounts, ? Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts from multiple ERP systems. ? Maintain and reconcile the fixed assets of the Company to the financials. ? Maintains and balances cash accounts. ? Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information. ? Ensures that deadlines are met in accordance with closing dates set by management. ? Maintains strictest confidentiality. Exercises discretion and independent judgment on significant matters following established accounting principles and best practices.
Qualifications: ? Bachelor's in Accounting. ? At least 5 years' experience in accounting with manufacturing experience preferred. ? Thorough knowledge of general accounting practices. ? Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work with cross functional teams ? Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. ? Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. ? Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness. ? Skilled in use of computer and software, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. ? Experience with or ability to learn ERP system. ? Experience with Fixed Asset administration preferred.
