Motiva Enterprises is seeking an Environmental Field Specialist in Texas to assess the environmental impact of refining operations. Position Overview:

The Environmental Field Specialist assesses the environmental impact of refining and chemicals operations, working with and advising production, maintenance, and operational teams to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role provides technical and operational guidance from an environmental perspective and advises management on regulatory changes, helping develop and maintain environmental management systems.

Responsibilities: ? Provide environmental analysis, support and advice within Motiva?s Chemicals & Distribution facility. ? Monitor air, water, soil and waste streams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. ? Analyze and interpret environmental data to identify trends, potential issues and areas for improvement. ? Support development and implementation of environmental management programs and initiatives to reduce emissions. ? Collaborate cross-functionally to assess environmental risks, participate in environmental impact assessments and help develop mitigation strategies. ? Participate in environmental audits and inspections, ensuring appropriate documentation and follow up on corrective actions as needed. ? Participate in Management of Change and Pre-startup Safety Reviews. ? Facilitate environmental training and awareness programs. ? Prepare detailed regulatory reports and permit applications, ensuring inclusion of all required information and data. ? Stay informed about environmental regulation changes, industry best practices and emerging technologies, contributing to the continuous improvement of environmental performance.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
? Bachelor?s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or in a related technical discipline
? 2+ years of experience working in environmental air compliance programs

Preferred Education and Experience:
? Experience tracking and reporting regulatory compliance with permit and regulatory requirements
? Experience navigating and underwriting State and Federal environmental regulations
? Experience using process data interface applications, emissions reporting, and incident tracking tools/databases, software such as regulatory portals to collect, evaluate and prepare emissions reports

Physical Requirements: ? Physical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders ? Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, heeled boots, and hearing protection)
