GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the ITS AVP of Technology Security and Compliance, the Operational Technology (OT) Security Manager leads efforts in securing OT environments, managing security within SCADA, ICS, sensors, controllers, cameras, printers, scanners, and other OT realms. This position works hand in hand with the ITS Technology Security team to ensure a fortified defense against cyber threats targeting our OT environments.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Drafts and enforces a holistic OT security program, ensuring alignment with the broader ITS security strategy.
? Supervises daily operations including monitoring, reporting, and incident response.
? Conducts routine security risk assessments, utilizing an enterprise Risk Management platform, and formulates strategies to alleviate identified risks.
? Leads the incorporation of OT security controls and technologies.
? Collaborates with all departments and the PMO to enforce security measures across OT environments.
? Crafts and delivers training and awareness programs regarding OT security risks.
? Oversees third-party vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with Airport security standards.
? Leads the development of OT disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
? Monitors cybersecurity news and alerts, identifies emerging threats, and recommends corrective actions.
? Handles incident response activities and communicates alerts to the leadership team.
? Prepares monthly metrics, briefings, and reports on Airport OT security posture.
? Serves as an escalation point for the systems admins team for OT security-related issues.
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SECURITY MANAGER 1921
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor?s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
? Five (5) plus years of progressive experience in cybersecurity and/or OT security, with a focus on SCADA, ICS, Internet of Things (IOT) and other OT environments.
? Two (2) plus years of experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
? Possession of a valid class C driver's license.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
? Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, CJIS, PCI, IEC 62443, or ISA/IEC 62443.
? Knowledge of monitoring against cyber-attacks on OT and IOT devices and systems.
? Knowledge of malware analysis/reverse engineering concepts
? Knowledge of the principles and practices of business and public administration.
? Knowledge of current network communications security technology.
? Knowledge of attacker methodology and penetration testing concepts,
? Knowledge of the principles and practices of a network systems design and implementation, including hardware, software, communications standards and documentation.
? Ability to problem solve, use critical thinking and analytic skills with the ability to de-construct problems (hunting anomalous pattern detection).
? Ability to use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
? Ability to provide project management.
? Ability to plan and develop time and cost estimates for network projects.
? Ability to oversee and coordinate the work of technical personnel.
? Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organization, and to provide technical documentation.
? Ability to effectively summarize and present findings.
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the organization.
? Ability to effectively work with others on projects where OT/IOT visibility is needed/required.
DESIRABLE
? Six (6) years of experience in OT security, with a focus on SCADA, ICS, and other OT environments.
? Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, or ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert.
OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SECURITY MANAGER 1921
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT
? Obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge, and CJIS Certification within 30 days from the date of employment and maintain these credentials upon each renewal.
? Pass an FBI background check.
EFFORTS
? Works in an office environment with occasional visits to different locations on Airport property to discuss OT/IOT visibility and management.
? May sit for prolonged periods, use near-visual acuity, keyboard devices, and computer monitors.
? Utilize substantial reasoning abilities for analysis and problem-solving.
? Effective communication both orally and in writing, technical documentation, and ability to present findings.
