Summary
We are looking for a full-time software engineer to join the GenStudio Core Engineering Team which is responsible for developer experience, platform services, integrations, automation tools and processes to enable Adobe GenStudio product development, delivery, and releasing.
The Challenge
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate engineer who is interested in building the next generation of blazingly fast, always-available applications, cloud-based services, integrations, automation tools, within the scope of the Adobe GenStudio product. You will have an opportunity to experiment, optimize and automate things, integrate tools and creation solutions for improving developers' experience, product delivery processes and bringing outstanding features to our creative customers. If you are passionate about writing high-quality code, are genuinely interested in building highly scalable and reliable services, and are fascinated by Micro-services Architecture, then this would be a phenomenal opportunity for you.
What you will do
? Participate in all aspects of software development activities including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, integration testing, and bug fixing.
? Code and participate in infrastructure setup and configuration.
? Collaborate and Provide guidance to team members to build a scalable and high-performance solution with low operational overhead.
? Work with multi-functional team members to ensure a superb end-to-end user experience for our customers.
? Fast prototyping of ideas and concepts and researching the latest industry trends.
? Build features that make our products easier to use and experience of our developers better. We're constantly experimenting with how to improve our products to benefit our users, and you'll help track metrics and formulate ideas to improve and increase adoption.
? Perform analysis and experimentation for the data flowing through different systems/services
What you will need to success
? BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
? Minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering.
? Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
? Track record of delivering software projects on time with high quality.
? Experience or knowledge in Java and Spring Framework or alternative backend platforms (Python, NodeJS). Proficient in Object-Oriented analysis and design.
? Understanding of Developer Operations basics.
? Knowledge of automation frameworks.
? Knowledge in data experimentation and analysis
? Knowledge in building RESTful services.
? Knowledge of databases and SQL.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Experience with Agile Software Development techniques.
? Experience with AWS or Azure stack, New Relic, Splunk is a huge plus.
? Experience in building scalable, client/server solutions is a plus.
? Frontend development skills is a big plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several? U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position?is $93,200 -- $170,600 annually. Pay?within this range varies by work location?and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,?and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
