Responsibilities
The Office of Admissions is a unit within the Division of Enrollment Management, which is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions, Office of the University Registrar, Office of Financial Aid, and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management?s integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the student's development and progression in their academic experience ? from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families and to campus partners across the University.
Position is responsible for the creative vision, direction, implementation, and delivery of marketing materials for the Office of Admissions. Works closely with the leadership team to strategically develop and design both print and digital materials, presentations, or other marketing items for prospective students, parents, and high school counselors. Ensures that the Office of Admissions aligns with university marketing and branding initiatives to establish a brand identity for a global audience. Position works as part of a collaborative team with internal partners within the Division of Enrollment Management as well as external partners across the university.
Serves as the Office of Admissions strategic visionary for creative and marketing concepts. Ensures that creative work is consistent with the university?s brand and messaging. Develops, edits, proofreads, approves, and coordinates all content for the department marketing efforts. Responsible for the direct supervision and training of the department graphic designer. Coordinates with the business operations team within the Division of Enrollment Management to provide necessary quotes for processing print requests. Partners with printers and vendors prepare digital files, assess press check quality, and obtain invoices to ensure production deadlines are met within budget and fulfilled to the department?s satisfaction.
Oversees department master calendar organizing and developing marketing timelines, photoshoots, content deadlines, printing timelines, and managing inventory of department print materials. Coordinate with various university departments to develop written content and ensure all information represents the university accurately.
Assist with the planning and coordination of communication projects for the Office of Admissions including emails, social media, and websites/portal updates.
Contributes to long-range planning. Reviews and evaluates policies and procedures, making suggestions, and recommendations to senior leadership regarding marketing and communication functions. Shares in the compilation and analysis of data for recommendations and projections. Assists in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and staffing within area of oversight.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience related to media, communications, and/or marketing services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of said experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
Preferred Qualifications
? A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of complimentary experience is preferred.
? We seek enthusiastic candidates who are detail-oriented, and who work well independently as well as in a team.
? Candidates should have the ability to review, analyze, formulate, and organize data and information and follow through on assignments.
? Applicants should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
? Candidates with a strong sense of initiative and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently are preferred.
? Candidates should have experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign computer software and the ability to write and develop visual content and tailor it for use across digital platforms such as websites, social media, crowdfunding, and email.
? Experience with digital photography and video editing preferred but not required.
? Knowledgeable of Adobe Premiere for video editing with some experience with CSS and HTML would be beneficial.

Anticipated Salary Range
The anticipated salary range for this position is around $51,500.00 annually, commensurate with education and experience.
