Responsibilities

Assist the Assistant Athletics Director for Facility and Event Management with the planning, coordination, and execution of home event management/game operations for all sports apart from Swimming and Diving. For assigned sports, responsible for working with coaches and administration on logistics and operations of all home events, including officials.

Responsible for assisting with updating policy and procedure guides for home game operations, oversight of all staff supporting home contests, interface with spectators, visiting teams, outside vendors, and University stakeholders. Assisting with the planning, coordinating, and executing ACC Championships and NCAA postseason tournaments and competitions hosted by FSU Athletics both on and off campus. Responsible for numerous personnel performing contractual and purchase order services and support for athletics.

Assist in adhering to budgetary directives as assigned by Assistant Athletics Director of Facility and Event Management, managing daily operations, maintenance, and scheduling of athletic venues and fields for assigned sports. Submitting and logging maintenance work requests and monitoring responses and progress of work. Performing administrative duties associated with requisitions and purchase orders; coordination of building and event security efforts by working with FSU police and contract security personnel for assigned sports.

Assist in the coordination of capital projects and serving as the Athletics Department liaison during in progress construction.

Assist in administrative duties, on a rotating basis, to include, but not limited to: radio management and maintenance; coordination of pest control, inventory and acquisition of office supplies; usage, maintenance, and inventory of Athletics owned utility vehicles; and major accountable property management.

Perform other work as assigned, including representing the Department of Athletics with internal and external agencies, both on and off campus.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: Post-high school education may substitute for experience at the comparable rate).
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in facilities and event management.

Experience in planning, coordinating, and execution of home events management/game operations.
