The Director of Nursing is entrusted with the important duty of supervising nursing services within the facility and managing resources effectively to support the overall well-being of guests. They must allocate resources efficiently and economically to ensure that each individual can achieve or maintain their highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial health.

Responsibilities
? Collaborates with various departments, healthcare professionals, advisors, and groups, including public entities, to establish, endorse, and manage patient care, related administrative tasks, and to advocate for the facility's best interests.
? Guarantees compliance with the facility's regulations by staying updated on federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications
? A graduate from an approved nursing school.
? It is necessary to have an active and valid RN license, or a temporary RN license from the State Board of Nursing, or a compact RN license prior to being employed.
? CPR certification is a compulsory requirement for RNs to be able to perform their duties effectively
? One year of documented experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare institution is a prerequisite.
? Experience in assisting vulnerable adult populations is advantageous.
? Successful candidates should demonstrate a history of at least six months of verified experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing procedures.
