Electrical Apprentice

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team in the commercial industry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess a strong work ethic, and share our commitment to providing high-quality electrical services. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, lighting, and control systems in commercial buildings. ? Help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and equipment. ? Follow blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate and safe installations. ? Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in an organized and safe manner. ? Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and others on the job site. ? Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills. ? Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time. ? Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising electrician or project manager. ? Driving is an essential job function to this position

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ? High school diploma or equivalent. ? Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship program. ? Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures. ? Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. ? Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. ? Good communication and interpersonal skills. ? Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces. ? Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: ? Lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment, up to 50 pounds. ? Climbing ladders and working at various heights. ? Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods. ? Standing and walking for long durations. ? Using hand and power tools with precision and safety. ? Working in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoor settings, in all weather conditions.
