About the position

As a Store Service Associate at Comcast, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store team to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to both customers and the store team while continuously striving for improvement in all areas of store operations. You will maintain accurate inventory levels, ensure the cleanliness of the store, and create an inviting atmosphere that encourages customers to return and learn more about our products and services. This position involves working on straightforward tasks using established procedures, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent customer service and operational efficiency. In this role, you will be expected to have a strong understanding and enthusiasm for technology, particularly our company products and services. You will serve as a go-to resource for the store team, assisting in both front and back-of-store operations. Your responsibilities will include scanning the sales floor to ensure that all areas are accessible, clean, and functioning properly, and reporting any issues to leadership. You may also greet customers and connect them with sales consultants for sales opportunities, as well as demonstrate our technology to new customers to ensure they understand the basics of Xfinity services. Additionally, you will perform non-sales customer service transactions, such as equipment returns and swaps, and assist with in-store order fulfillment for customers who have purchased online. As an in-store expert for Xfinity Mobile support, you will provide post-sales support for device data transfers and phone number ports, and assist customers with onboarding and account setup. You will also support inventory and merchandising responsibilities by checking and inspecting the back of the store, assisting with receiving inventory, and conducting weekly cycle counts to improve store processes. Your role will require you to adapt to store management priorities while demonstrating professionalism and integrity. You must be able to lift up to 25-pound boxes and maintain a consistent presence in the store, including working nights, weekends, and overtime as necessary. Overall, you will be expected to embody Comcast's Operating Principles, prioritize the customer experience, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities
? Provide strong understanding and enthusiasm for technology, especially company products and services.

? Scan the sales floor to ensure counters, devices, accessories, and walkways are accessible, clean, and functioning.

? Greet customers and connect them to a sales consultant for sales opportunities in a timely manner.

? Demonstrate company technology to new customers to ensure they know the basics of Xfinity services.

? Perform non-sales customer service transactions including equipment returns and swaps.

? Assist with customer pick up for buy-online-pick-up in-store order fulfillment.

? Provide in-store post-sales support for Xfinity Mobile, including device data transfers and phone number ports.

? Assist customers in setting up online accounts and resolving account setup errors.
,
? Check and inspect the back of the store for clean, secure, and appropriately placed inventory.
,
? Assist with receiving inventory and properly stocking the back of house to store standards.
,
? Conduct the weekly cycle count process and look for opportunities to improve the store count process.
,
? Suggest improvements to current processes and procedures that enhance the customer and/or store experience.

? Adjust and adapt to store management priorities and direction while demonstrating professionalism and integrity.

? Carry and lift up to 25-pound boxes, stand and move about the store constantly.

? Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, including working nights and weekends.

Requirements
? High School Diploma / GED
,
? 0-2 years of relative work experience
,
? Strong understanding of technology and company products and services
,
? Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

? Excellent customer service skills
,
? Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as necessary.
