Responsibilities
Directly advises at least one Greek Governing Council. Assists governing councils and chapters to formulate policy and solve problems that affect their members and the University. Continuously available beyond scheduled or normal working hours to monitor and respond to emails to support the governing council?s university operations. Interprets a wide array of university policies and procedures for student leaders, council executive board members, chapter advisors, alumni, national organization officers and parents.
Manages and supports educational programs related to leadership development, risk management, peer and group accountability and values congruence programming through the development and evaluation of learning outcomes. Ensures programs work cohesively together to promote the mission and vision of Fraternity and Sorority Life, and FSU. Programs include but are not limited to Greek Leadership Summit, new member programs and emerging leader?s course.
Coordinates advisor, house director and house corporation advisor meetings and trainings. Communicates with all constituents related to this area.
Coordinates risk management efforts, including managing the fire & Life Safety program and the Greek conduct process.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
