About the position

Radiology Partners is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to provide remote weekend coverage specifically in the Long Island area. This position is designed for independent contractors and offers a flexible schedule that allows you to choose your working hours. The coverage requirements include working one weekend per month, which can be tailored to your availability, whether that means working one weekend day shift per month, every weekend, or every other weekend. The shifts can be scheduled for days (from 8 AM to 5 PM) and/or evenings (from 4 PM to 12 AM), all while working remotely from the comfort of your home. Empire State Radiology (ESR), an affiliate of Radiology Partners, is one of the leading radiology practices in New York, covering all five boroughs. With a growing team of over 30 physicians, ESR provides radiology services for four outpatient imaging centers and six hospitals within the Catholic Health system. The hospitals serviced include NYSDOH designated Stroke Centers and Level 1 trauma centers. All ESR physicians are board certified and possess subspecialties in Interventional Radiology, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Pediatrics, and Women's Diagnostic Imaging. Responsibilities
? Provide remote weekend coverage for diagnostic radiology services.

? Read and interpret medical imaging studies remotely from home.

? Collaborate with other radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

? Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of practice.

Requirements
? Completion of residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an ACGME accredited U.S. training program.
,
? Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (ABOR).

? Possession of a valid medical license in the state of New York or the ability to obtain one.
