- Responsibilities: As a Virtual School Special Education Teacher, you will:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction and support to students through virtual classrooms, interactive activities, and personalized learning plans.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure students' academic and social success.
- Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Utilize technology tools effectively to enhance virtual teaching and learning experiences.
- Requirements:
- Valid Special Education teaching license in the state of Vermont.
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
- Proven experience in providing special education services.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable using technology and virtual teaching platforms.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
