Your focus will be on achieving operational excellence through budget, project, and workflow management, while overseeing internal communication channels. You'll empower our marketing and communications community with the right tools, processes, and training to drive business growth and transformation. You will collaborate closely with 3M’s Public Affairs, business teams, Sourcing, and Legal, and partner with some of the most innovative minds globally.In this role, you will:
- Manage core Media Tech platforms of Sprinklr for social management, Cerby for password management, Libsyn Pro for Podcast governance, Brandle for platform governance and Workfront for work management.
- Serve as Principal Project Manager across Media Tech projects, managing timeline, scope and ensuring completion of deliverables and coordinates internal schedules, quality assurance testing and user training. Hold vendors accountable for project commitments and maximizing vendor support services (managed services).
- Own Media Technology & Governance training plans, creating training calendar, hosting office hours and developing self-learning materials. Plan annual social summits focusing on training and thought leadership.
- Manage overall Media Tech Budget within External Communications, opens all Purchase Orders and monitors all contract renewals across tech stack and team P-cards and Meeting Event Card as needed.
- Oversee Workfront as an enterprise admin and manages task and project management processes for media technologies. Govern annual project planning process and set up to ensure effective project management and agile best practices are in place for team.
- Own Media Tech & Governance Communications processes from weekly platform updates (Social Pros), and monthly compliance newsletters via Eloqua and manages bi-annual survey process.
- Optimize adoption capabilities across training, support and onboarding activities. Governs internal process for creation of global playbooks, awards and case studies. Manages gamification and recognition platform for Sprinklr
- Govern three Managed Service resources with Sprinklr to ensure platform management and enhancements are completed.
- Maintain Sprinklr adoption reporting, owns enterprise social ChatBot, Adobe, User Generated Content (UGC) and YouTube workflow processes.
- Supervise workload of one Global Service Center (GSC) employee who manages administration and access management tasks for Media Technology & Governance team.
- Manage enterprise SharePoint for Media Technologies for accurate resources for marketing and communication teams and ensure all policies and standards are updated on a regular basis.
- Accountable for quarterly user access reviews (UAR) process and internal content controls from quarterly platform audits and partners with IT internal requirements such as SSO, password requirements, archive/record retention and platform harvesting.
- Stay abreast of emerging media and AI capabilities to inform stakeholders of trends, opportunities or risks.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher within Communications, Marketing, IT (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
- Six (6) years of experience in technology, marketing or brand communications for a large brand, agency or consultancy in a private, public, government or military environment
- Three (3) years of experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders throughout a large organization
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution within Communications, Marketing, IT or a related field
- Experience thriving within a fast-paced External Communications organization to rapidly respond to the needs of leadership and broader business teams with excellent communication, presentation, and training.
- Project Management or Agile certifications.
- Proficiency with Sprinklr, Cision, Cerby, Workfront, Libsyn, FirstUp, and Muckrack.
- Track record of deploying enterprise technologies to marketing or communications organizations.
- Experience managing internal budgets, contract renewals and Purchase Order (PO) creation process.
- Proficiency with Work Management technology such as Workfront, Asana, SmartSheet, Monday.com, Trello to manage project and tasks management activities.
- Savvy with emerging media and technology trends and taking time to stay abreast of industry changes.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into easily understandable language and align communications with business objectives.
- Balance of quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to make decisions and highlight opportunities to leadership and broader stakeholders.
- Professional, confident, and positive demeanor, with ability to maintain poise under pressure.
