- Conduct one-on-one and group psychotherapy, assessing new client histories, and determining appropriate treatment options in consultation with the patient and other mental health professionals.
- Consults with Clinical Manager in the development and facilitation of program activities which assures an optimal therapeutic experience for all patients.
- Provides oversight of other Clinicians when directive by Clinical Manager.
- Assist Clinical Manager in routine ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation on clinical providers and Focused Professional Practice Evaluation when needed.
- Lead clinician responsible for facilitating group therapy sessions.
- Lead clinician responsible for facilitating monthly clinical staff meetings.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings including collaboration with psychiatric providers and other organization clinical staff.
- Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
- Conducts and documents ongoing assessment of patient progress in approved platform(s).
- Evaluate and document effectiveness of patient teaching, therapy, interventions and patient responses.
- Work remotely conducting one-on-one, safe and confidential tele-video sessions scheduled a minimum of 20% of the weekly responsibilities.
- Supports efforts establish needed credentials and licensure in additional states as needed.
- Attends weekly supervision if required for clinical licensure.
- Adheres to all facilities policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all facilities service excellence standards.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Active clinical licensure in the state of California.
- Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field.
- Active Clinical licensure and experience in LMFT/LCSW/LPC/LMHC.
- Comfortable with technology and distance-based management of patients.
- Required- experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.
