Job Description
Candidates should bring experiences in Missile Defense including Sensors and Sensor Networks, Communications, Fire Control, and Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) test environments.
- The System Integration / Test Engineer (SI/TE) will support development and test of complex Missile Defense systems. Tasks include:
- Assist with planning, implementing, and reporting on SI/TE activities.
- Lead system-level integration and verification of system level requirements.
- Lead System Level testing of complex computer programs.
- Oversee data analysis to evaluate and troubleshoot system/element anomalies.
- Oversee requirement verification test procedures and test reports as required by the supporting program.
- Support the program technical leadership and functional management on cost, schedule and technical performance.
- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 9 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related experience, or 4 years of experience with a PhD.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset
- Experience with Test Driven Development and Automated Test
- Experience developing testing criteria to successfully satisfy requirements
- Experience with Agile Scrum Test Lifecycle
- Experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, analyzing results and creating reports
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% to support business needs.
- Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the DoD secret level; and a minimum of an interim secret clearance will be required to start. Must be US Citizen.

- The selected Scrum Master/Staff Test Engineer responsibilities include the development and support of the In-Flight Interceptor Communication Systems (IFICS) Data Terminal (IDT) and Phased Array IDT suite of products within the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems (GWS) program.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile IPT environment
- Successful candidate will be responsible for performing incremental configuration item and product test specifications, integration and qualification testing to best meet dynamic customer needs for new and existing features of the IDT/PA IDT systems, collaborating with team members, and working in a cross functional agile scrum team.
- The role will be approximately 50% Scrum Master duties and 50% Test Engineer.
- Ability to understand and interpret requirements and test guidance to complete configuration item and product-level integration testing
- Excellent decision making and communication (written and verbal) skills

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
