For summer periods the student hourly must: 1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or 2) be pre-enrolled in upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or 3) be enrolled in summer session or 4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly) Advertised Salary Range 11.50/ hour FTE .05 - .10 Preferred Qualifications Academic success in law school generally, in the particular course that is that is the subject of tutoring, or both. Experience living in another country or working with international students. An interest in helping others. Position Overview The Law School is looking for students interested in helping LLM students navigate law school and succeed in their law school coursework. LLM students have law degrees from another country and speak English as a second language. Tutors will provide study skills training, mentoring, and work with students in the context of a particular law school course the LLM student is taking. We are looking for tutors for Lawyering Skills I and tutors for Contracts and Torts.
