Business Analyst (Remote)

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with strong business and process analysis skills to support our internal business and IT teams as we build and enhance innovative legal services solutions.     What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate requirements sessions using interviews, workshops, use cases, and workflow analysis.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend tech-driven solutions.
  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed documentation (functional specs, use cases, UI wireframes, test scenarios).
  • Partner with attorneys, executives, and staff to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Drive application testing and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Support and enhance organization-wide methodologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to both long-term strategic projects and short-term tactical solutions.
  • Serve as a mentor and a mentee in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

    What You Bring
  • 4+ years of professional experience in an operations or analyst role (ideally in financial services, legal, or consulting).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – you can engage with everyone from attorneys to IT teams.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with JIRA (preferred but not required).
  • A proactive mindset with a strong work ethic and problem-solving orientation.
  • A willingness to learn proprietary systems and processes and help others do the same.
