BP Environmental Services, is a rapidly growing company and is seeking a Medical Waste Salesperson in our corporate office located in Chalfont, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with healthcare providers, and promoting our medical waste management services.

Responsibilities
• Business Development: Identify and target potential clients in the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
• Effectively communicate the benefits and value of medical waste management services.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Provide feedback from clients to improve service offerings.
• Compliance Knowledge: Stay updated on regulations and compliance standards related to medical waste disposal.
• Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop strategies to enhance sales performance and increase market share.

Education:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge on Regulations: Understanding healthcare regulations and compliance related to medical waste management is crucial.

Experience:
• Sales Experience: Five (5) years of experience in medical waste sales, especially B2B or related industries (like healthcare or medical waste management), is preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to medical waste disposal.

Skills:
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interactions and presentations.
• Relationship-Building: Strong ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating contracts and closing sales.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions.

Certifications:
• Sales Certifications: Certifications from recognized sales organizations will credibility.
• Environmental or Safety Certifications: Relevant certifications in environmental management or safety is beneficial.

Networking:
• Industry Associations: Joining relevant associations can help build a network and stay informed about industry trends.

Personal Qualities:
• Motivations and Resilience: a strong drive to meet sales targets and overcome challenges.
• Ethical Standards: A commitment to ethical sales practices, especially given the sensitive nature of medical waste management.

Qualifications
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the medical waste industry
• Experience in outside sales and B2B sales
• Ability to manage accounts and develop new business opportunities
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interactions
• Familiarity with pricing, contracts, and purchasing processes
• Prior experience in cold calling and sales management
• Ability to analyze market trends and conduct product demos
• Strong time management skills for territory management and upselling opportunities

Compensation: Salary plus commission is negotiable based upon experience.
