Key Responsibilities
 Create and maintain a respectful and engaging classroom setting with established behavioral expectations.
 Design and deliver captivating lesson plans, units, and projects aligned with educational objectives.
 Articulate lesson aims clearly to enhance student understanding.
 Tailor teaching approaches and resources to meet diverse learning preferences and interests.
 Inspire students to explore various academic and career opportunities.
 Provide individualized support to learners requiring additional assistance.
 Regularly assess and track student progress in academic performance.
 Conduct meetings with parents to discuss students growth and development.
 Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and supervisors.
 Manage classroom behavior with effective strategies.
 Ensure a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel valued.
 Maintain ongoing communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
 Administer assessments to gauge student learning and development.
Required Skills
 Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
 Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional delivery.
 Ability to adapt methods and materials to diverse learning profiles.
 Strong interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications
 BachelorÂs degree in Education or a related discipline.
 Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or an Educator License with Stipulations (ELS), including required endorsements in ELL/ESL or Bilingual Education.
 Previous experience in curriculum design, instructional planning, and teaching is preferred.
