Job Title: Relationship Manager

Reports To: AVP of Non-QM Operations

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: TPO Operations

Division: TPO

Salary: $70K - $75K plus bonus

Summary: Provides customer support to TPO or NDC customers and account executives as a member of the Production Support Team. The Relationship Manager is the primary point of contact between the Client and internal NQM Funding, LLC. departments and is responsible for managing the loans through the pipeline.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
• Oversee loans throughout each stage of the process, work with the client to obtain necessary conditions to move the loan through the process
• Point of contact for any issues or escalations from the client and/or the Account Executive
• Partner with Account Executives on pipeline management and client relationship development
• Provide loan status to client throughout the loan process
• Manage lock expirations and estimated closing dates
• Lead onboard training for new clients; including training on our portal and/or how to do business with NQM Funding, LLC.
• Knowledge of our TPO or NDC Portal to help Clients when they have issues and help to add documents that are needed for underwriting
• Be available to clients and account executives to answer underwriting questions on non-QM programs, including working with underwriting and/or management on possible condition and documentation alternatives
• Communicates needed items to complete a requested review to requestor and account executive
• Maintain company service level and turn-time standards
• Stay abreast of changes to underwriting guidelines
• Coordinate with management, sales and underwriting in order to improve efficiencies and customer service within the department and across other departments within the TPO or NDC division
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge: 3-5 years of mortgage lending experience, preferably at a senior processor or junior underwriter level.

Skills: Strong attention to detail as well as organizational skills is required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, including demonstrated rapport-building, and PC skills are required.

Abilities: Must be able to work independently with frequent interruptions; able to communicate effectively with people at all levels; use typical office equipment; able to comprehend concepts and put them into practical application.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
