Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based) - Spanish Bilingual Location: Remote (Serving students in New York) Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary (2 Maternity Leave Coverage) - Independent Contractor Start Date: Immediate Caseload: Elementary School Students Job Overview: VocoVision is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, remote position to provide speech therapy services to elementary-aged students. This position is specifically to cover two consecutive maternity leaves, with the caseload predominantly consisting of students requiring speech-language therapy. Responsibilities: Â Deliver speech-language therapy via telehealth to elementary students. Â Manage a caseload that includes students with a range of needs and varying levels of assistance. Â Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure proper service delivery. Â Partner with IEP teams to evaluate, plan, and implement customized therapy goals. Â Offer bilingual speech therapy services, with approximately half of the caseload requiring Spanish language support in their IEPs. Qualifications: Â Must be bilingual in Spanish. Â Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in New York State. Â Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in a school-based setting. Â Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and effective in a virtual work environment. Â Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and communicate with diverse teams.
