As a Full-Time Center Associate at UPS, you will be an integral part of our operations team. This position involves a variety of tasks such as package sorting, scanning, and loading/unloading, as well as assisting customers with their shipping needs. Your role will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our centers and ensure high-quality service for customers.
Responsibilities: Â Sort and organize packages efficiently in the center. Â Scan packages using handheld devices to track and monitor shipments. Â Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles. Â Assist customers with package drop-off, pick-up, and shipping inquiries. Â Ensure safety and quality standards are met at all times. Â Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications: Â High school diploma or equivalent. Â Strong physical ability to lift and move packages (up to 70 lbs). Â Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Â Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Â Previous experience in logistics or a related field is a plus but not required. Â A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
