About the position Responsibilities • Leverage intermediate and advanced analytical knowledge to collaborate with cross-functional teams on business objectives. • Apply advanced analytical techniques to medium to large scale business problems impacting current and future strategies. • Utilize innovative and quantitative analytical approaches to make actionable recommendations. • Translate recommendations into communication materials for peer review and management presentation. • Incorporate visualization techniques to enhance understanding for non-technical audiences. • Identify and gather relevant data sources to address business problems through exploratory data analysis. • Integrate and transform disparate data sources while applying appropriate data hygiene techniques. • Document assumptions, methodology, validation, and testing for compliance and peer reviews. • Adopt emerging technologies that enhance scientific methodologies and quantitative approaches. • Deliver findings in a manner that influences management and drives business decisions. • Ensure risks associated with business activities are identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative analytics field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Operations Research, Data Science, or related discipline; or 4 years of related experience may substitute for a degree. • 4 years of experience in data/analytics or functional business experience in the respective industry (P&C, Bank, Finance) OR an advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experience. • Competency in mathematical and statistical techniques for fact-based decision-making. • Intermediate and advanced knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, SQL, SAS, BI tools, and relevant industry data. Nice-to-haves • Experience supporting business analytics in marketing. • Knowledge of building sophisticated reports that support business outcomes. • Proven experience designing marketing tests in complex environments. • Demonstrated knowledge of media mix optimizations using Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution. • Experience in communicating insights to business teams.
