About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop groundbreaking algorithms and models to enhance products and improve the hiring experience.
• Extract and analyze rich datasets focusing on human interactions and decision-making to drive improvements.
• Formulate success metrics and craft algorithms for new products in the hiring landscape.
• Design and execute experiments to test new product ideas and push the boundaries of hiring technology.
Requirements
• 2+ years of Data Science work experience.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (MS or PhD preferred) such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
• Experience with standard Machine Learning algorithms, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
• Familiarity with algorithmic fairness is a plus.
• Experience with recommender systems preferred.
• Proficiency with novel NLP techniques, particularly embedding models.
• Must program in a scripting language such as Python, with familiarity in machine learning libraries like numpy, scikit-learn, and pandas.
• Ability to collaborate with the Industrial-Organizational Psychology team for novel research.
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with algorithmic fairness is a plus.
• Familiarity with recommender systems preferred.
