Specialized Consultant/ Retirement Plan Administrator- Remote
Under general direction, provides compliance/regulatory consulting services by developing and/or delivering compliance/regulatory services to internal and external clients through one or more of the following responsibilities: document assessments, custom content development, compliance monitoring/research and other content related services, software product integrations support or training. Coordinates custom product development across departments, participates in consulting service development and delivery, researches and documents compliance, business and transactional requirements and assists in documentation of service deliverables.
Job Description Summary:
Requires working knowledge of theories, principles and concepts and applies general knowledge of business and industry practices within client training. Understands key business drivers and builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers. Under a moderate level of guidance, responsible for solving moderately complex problems following established policies and procedures. Participates in the delivery of post-sale or post-implementation training to clients to ensure knowledge transfer and effective utilization of products. Provides clients guidance on industry or specific product issues that may impact the application of product or technology at client organization. Plans own work and adjusts efforts to meet goals. Supports the achievement of goals through own personal efforts.
BASIC FUNCTION
The job is to assist managed services customers in a back-office capacity with retirement plan administration duties using the ftwilliam.com software as well as help out other teams as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ftwilliam.com provides administrative, document and compliance software for retirement plan service providers. This specialist supports with managed services by performing retirement plan administration using the ftwilliam.com software.
This position requires that the individual:
• Assist with retirement plan administration for managed services customers
• Work closely with management and sales during the initial sale, to help with questions on managed services
• Assist with other duties as time permits
OTHER DUTIES
Various ad hoc activities as required
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Two year degree or comparable Industry experience
5 years of retirement plan administration experience
Experience with ftwilliam.com strongly preferred
Willingness to expand industry knowledge and to earn an ASPPA or NIPA credential
Experience with retirement plan documents a plus
Proficiency in MS Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard business software applications
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills, including superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment and help other team members and teams when needed
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision and to exercise sound, independent judgment, and discretion.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Minimal travel required to our various office locations. May work in the field with customers and sales reps.
Experience with ftwilliam.com software a plus
