Overview

We're looking for a talented individual to join our team in the Birmingham, AL area. While this is a remote position, you will be required to travel to physician offices in the Trussville area and attend in-person training sessions and meetings in the Birmingham area as needed.

Position Overview

The Orders Tracking Coordinator will be responsible for providing end-to-end high-quality orders workflow, ensuring compliance with Aveanna Healthcare policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations and guidelines. Your primary focus will be on tracking and following up on physician orders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining open lines of communication to resolve issues and challenges.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for physician orders, ensuring effective coordination and follow-up
  • Proactively communicate with all parties to ensure timely submission and return of signed orders
  • Collaborate with the HHH Division to maintain open lines of communication and resolve issues, challenges, and barriers
  • Process all orders by close of business each day, obtaining physician signatures as needed
  • Upload all orders into the EMR system on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure the orders process follows all applicable local, state, or federal regulatory requirements, as well as Aveanna Healthcare policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and TEAMS
  • Prior experience in home health or public health services, with knowledge of medical terminology

Preferences

  • Experience with Home Care Home Base preferred
