We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Remote Full-Time Licensed Therapist to join our team at Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses. As a licensed therapist in California, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients and contributing to our vision of making healthcare better for everyone.

Position Overview

  • Start Date: Immediate openings available
  • Company: Optum, part of the UnitedHealth Group family of businesses
  • Compensation: Competitive salary range of $58,300 to $114,300 annually, plus sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package
  • Location: Remote, with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.
  • Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote care to patients through our 8-week evidence-based program
  • Monitor participant progress and provide follow-up communications and care coordination recommendations
  • Document session notes and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with supervisors, monthly team meetings, and Town Halls
  • Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA policies

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California
  • Ability to maintain a consistent schedule for patients (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday)
  • Clinical experience conducting psychotherapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused approaches (preferred)
