Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets
  • Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations
  • Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
  • Perform passenger check-in and seat assignment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Operate gate reader/scanner and related equipment
  • Make boarding and departure gate announcements
  • Deliver domestic and international flight files
  • Maintain a timeline of the flight boarding process
  • Process and complete credit card transactions
  • Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage processing
  • Respond to and assist in safety and emergency situations
  • Provide high-quality customer service in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED or global equivalent
  • Bilingual language skills (required in some locations)
  • Applicable valid driver's license (as required by local authorities)
  • Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks (if applicable)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain airport authority and/or US Customs security badges (if applicable)
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, full background check, and/or fingerprinting (to meet company and security requirements)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working experience with Sabre or another Passenger Service System
  • Previous face-to-face customer service experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
