Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager, Prospect Development to join our team at the University of Minnesota Foundation. As a key member of our Prospect Development Department, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and managing information to advance the University's development program, with a focus on supporting key donors and prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Experience Management: Act as a service manager for principal giving, providing exceptional customer service and strategic counsel to development officers and internal stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of high-quality products, collaborating with development officers, supervisors, and research colleagues.
  • Prospect Research: Conduct in-depth research on corporations, foundations, and individuals, analyzing data to assess financial capacity, philanthropic tendencies, and giving propensity.
  • Prospect Management: Execute prospect management services, including prospecting, portfolio development, and pipeline management, to support the development process.
  • Database Management: Input, utilize, and manage prospect information within our donor management system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in research, project management, or a related field

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively in a complex environment
