We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Data Entry and Customer Service Specialist. Job Summary:
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process, and providing top-notch customer service to our patients and clients. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform order entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and client inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Triage customer service requests, prioritizing urgency and information/response required
- Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions
- Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions and ensuring timely processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician (or as required by state law)
- At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician or in a call center environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
