Cognizant, a leading IT consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our Contact Center for Foodservice, you will provide exceptional support to our Selling Team, field partners, and Direct Customers, ensuring seamless interactions and resolving concerns with ease. In this role, you will:

  • Handle service and delivery inquiries, resolving concerns and establishing Gold Standard business relationships with our customers
  • Receive and respond to inbound calls, emails, and Teams chats, providing timely and effective solutions to customer queries
  • Make outbound calls and process tasks as required to meet client needs and maintain predetermined brand distribution percentages
  • Utilize computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting, ensuring accurate documentation and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, providing proactive support and redirecting callers to self-service options when applicable

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Previous call center experience and knowledge of the foodservice industry are preferred but not required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to compose routine written communications and work independently
  • A self-starter mentality, with the ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently and pay close attention to detail
  • A flexible schedule, with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

As a remote employee, you will need:

  • A private and secure workspace, free from interruptions and distractions
  • A reliable internet connection, with a CAT 7 Ethernet cord or higher (WiFi connections are not permitted)
  • All necessary equipment will be provided, except for the Ethernet cord

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $14.50 per hour
