Manager, Social Insights (Disney Branded Television) - Unlock the Power of Social Media Insights
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Manager, Social Insights to join our team, focusing on Disney Branded Television series and films. As a Social Insights Manager, you will play a crucial role in interpreting social media data, translating it into actionable ideas, and building reports to support the company's strategic, brand, and cultural initiatives. - Manage social research projects for the Disney Branded Television marketing team, measuring sentiment and conversation through social listening for Disney TV and Film titles, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, TVA channels.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish campaign-specific KPIs, measure performance, create benchmarks, and communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Provide social insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders regarding title and audience performance.
- Advise on evolving social tactics throughout each campaign as new data emerges.
- Inform strategies and insights that help create high-impact moments around title debuts, announcements, trailers, press, etc.
- Partner with social insights teams across the Disney organization and enterprise research/insights vendors on reporting and best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in social media insights and data analysis in a content-driven environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of social platform tools and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and more.
- Team-first, collaborative mentality with strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Passionate about research, television, marketing, emerging media, and technology.
- Commitment to inclusivity and ability to build and manage relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mix of agency, vendor, and client-side social media insights experience.
- Experience at a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) streaming service or a research company working with a DTC streaming service.
- Experience setting up dashboards and workspaces with vendors such as Sprinklr, NetBase, ListenFirst, etc.
- Experience with primary research methodologies and analysis.
- Strong interest in utilizing emerging technologies and systems.
- Bachelor's degree.
