Job Summary:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and academic achievement
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and development
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to students, parents, and administrators
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction and facilitate communication with students and parents

Responsibilities:

• Teach middle school language arts curriculum to students in a remote setting
• Develop and administer assessments to measure student learning and progress
• Provide individualized support and instruction to students as needed
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators through email, phone, and video conferencing
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• State certification as a Middle School Teacher
• Experience teaching middle school language arts preferred
• Strong knowledge of language arts curriculum and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
