As a Paramedic with a passion for helping others, you'll be the first point of contact for guests with medical needs, providing initial assessments, first aid solutions, and vital sign monitoring. You'll work collaboratively with our Registered Nurses to escalate care and support treatment plans, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality and confidentiality.

About the Role:

  • Provide initial contact and assessment for guests with medical needs
  • Administer first aid solutions, perform vital sign monitoring, and elevate care to Registered Nurses as needed
  • Collaborate with Registered Nurses to support treatment plans and escalate care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions and treatment provided
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and other partners
  • Uphold the Walt Disney Company's standards of business conduct and protect patient confidentiality

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Paramedic
  • Current BLS Certification, National Paramedic Certification, and State of Florida Paramedic Certification
  • Compassionate and genuine bedside manner with a deep desire to deliver exceptional care and guest service
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods, walk, lift, squat, push, pull, and/or carry heavy objects up to 30 lbs.
  • Excellent hearing and ability to see, with full use of hands for patient assessment and tool control
  • Sharp time management skills and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs and ability to work with a laptop/desktop
  • Valid Florida Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to speak additional languages (e.g., Spanish)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs

Education:

  • High School or GED required
  • Some College preferred
