Job Summary:

We are seeking a Full-Time Remote Grievance and Appeals Coordinator to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required for overtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in grievance and appeals, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with members to address inquiries and provide information on benefit plans
  • Document interactions accurately and thoroughly to ensure compliance and record-keeping
  • Conduct research utilizing various materials and navigate multiple systems for information
  • Reach out to providers and members to gather necessary information and resolve issues
  • Write formal letter recaps and communicate effectively with internal and external parties to facilitate case resolution
  • Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Adhere to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in all documentation and communication

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Grievance and Appeals experience preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and writing skills
  • Analytical and research savvy
  • Strong organization and ability to multi-task
  • Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree
