Job Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy, providing exceptional support to patients and addressing their concerns
- Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude in all patient interactions, ensuring an outstanding experience for every individual
- Register new patients into our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring seamless and efficient onboarding
- Book, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments, coordinating with our clinical teams to ensure smooth operations
- Input and update patient insurance information, transferring calls to appropriate staff when necessary to ensure continuity of care
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED, with a strong foundation in customer service and communication
- Exceptional phone and listening skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and personalized support
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely
- Ability to provide training and support to colleagues, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled work shifts, with a strong commitment to accountability and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare-related customer service role, with a deep understanding of the industry and its unique challenges
