About the Role:

  • Respond to inbound calls from entrepreneurs and leaders, understanding their needs and suggesting the right American Express products
  • Convey high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate proper product features, benefits, and components of American Express Small Business Services
  • Develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling complaints, and closing deals
  • Provide exceptional customer care by answering questions about accounts in a fast-paced, structured customer care environment
  • Report important account information according to established policies and procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Customer care experience (2+ years) with a proven track record of building customer loyalty through outstanding listening, consultative relationship building, creativity, and strong written and verbal communication
  • Proven results in a customer care and sales environment (2+ years+)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment with the ability to multitask and navigate in an electronic environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available
